What are cookies?

Cookies are files that can be downloaded to your computer via the web. There is also a second classification according to the time frame that remain stored in the client’s browser, and can be session cookies or persistent cookies. 
Finally, there is another classification with five types of cookies according to the purpose for which the data are processed: technical cookies, personalization cookies, analytical cookies, advertising cookies and behavioral advertising cookies.
